Pretty fun time waster. You did a great job with this. Most of the note charts are at least fun to play and the backgrounds, tempo changes, and other assorted bullshit really compliments the music. I used to play stepmania a lot, so it's nice to see a browser rhythm game that isn't a total piece of shit.

But most importantly, you get a 10 because of Dash Hopes 3. You silly troll, you.

Tedious but worth it

A lot of people have complained about the controls. Honestly, after several minutes of playing, they seemed fine to me. Sure, there can be a bit of awkwardness in grabbing ledges, I'm sure you noticed it during playtesting. The only time it really matters is on hard difficulty because you really do need to be perfect for the first few levels or so and to have a minute or so rendered moot because I didn't spam the up button was kind of a drag.

That shit is minor because I obviously kept playing. Great concept, levels were very well done. The overall concept was funny and aesthetically great. The game is just straight up fun to play.

Keep this shit on NG. Though that might be redundant since you named the thing Ching Chong Beautiful and my character says "China-bags" at least 50% of the time I fall down. Who else would have no qualms about posting a serious game with hirariously funny racism on their front page?

[Megaman X RPG: Chapter 1]

Great work

I played chapter zero and I have to say that this is a significant improvement upon your last submission. Things seem pretty polished as far as gameplay goes. You've certainly put a lot of time into creating the battle system. I encountered a glitch where gameplay stopped once, but overall it isn't HOLY SHIT buggy.

I've noticed a lot of people complaining about your use of sprites. You're clearly a big Megaman fan evident by the work you've done to create your own concordant storyline. If it weren't for the sprites that I recognize, I would probably take this for a canonical Megaman game. You're a fan of Megaman and have said you can't draw. That being said, I couldn't care less if you use sprites. You'd probably get the same amount of bitching if you drew the characters from people that would say, "they don't look like they do in the games."

Yeah, it would be awesome if the animation was totally original, but it doesn't detract from the fact that this is a very well made, albeit short, rpg. Looking forward to future installments and good luck in the army.

Good infomation

Other than the preload issue, I can't find much to really give you any suggestions on. Only one thing; I usually don't flag reviews in all caps because mods don't usually enforce that sort of thing. I tested it out and flagged a whole crapload of all caps reviews.

I have a golden whistle doing what I did (not proud of it). Oh well, writing personal experience comes with setbacks.
